 Registry Mechanic appears to freeze and/or go white and indicate "Not Responding" during a Deep Scan?
Answer: Although Registry Mechanic may appear to hang, it is still running. Occasionally, Registry Mechanic needs additional time to build its invalid entry list within the detected problems window. Once this issue is resolved, any future scans and repairs will occur within an acceptable time frame (normally within just a few minutes).
Please complete these steps outlined below:
Just before the end of the evening, launch Registry Mechanic.
Select all the sections to be scanned and then click Scan (let Registry Mechanic complete its scan process throughout the night).
The next morning, click on the Repair button within the detected problems window (please allow between 5-60 minutes for Registry Mechanic to complete its repair process).
